Tractor Town Macomb is a grassroots response to a tragic farm equipment-related accident on our public highway. A vintage Farmall tractor has been mosaicked with glass and tile patterns depicting local farms, crops and barns and festooned with LED lights. The first tractor is located at the intersections of Highways 67 and 136 (Mummert Pocket Park).
Tractor Town is a unique visual reminder to “see” farm equipment on shared roadways and will be a platform to disseminate information and resources about farm-related issues. The uniqueness of this project serves as a much needed tourism draw to our community.
